Traffic on the outbound lane of the Trasa Zamkowa toward the Right Bank will be restored on Sunday, October 18, 2026, around 8:00 AM following the completion of asphalt paving. Road crews finished work on the roadway ahead of the original schedule.
The final bituminous works were carried out on the bridge over the Parnica river and on the exit viaduct leading toward Gdańska Street. Work began on Saturday morning. City investment spokesperson Piotr Zieliński confirmed that the contractor finished laying the wearing courses ahead of time. Currently, the newly laid asphalt is cooling, and cleanup operations are underway before vehicles are allowed back on the route.
The completed work is part of the modernization of engineering structures on the outbound lane of provincial road No. 115. The project included viaducts, bridges, slip roads, and the approaches themselves. Construction crews repaired concrete surfaces, filled structural gaps, leveled the substrate, and applied paint and insulation coatings.
In parallel, the infrastructure of the crossings was replaced: railings, expansion joints, protective barriers, and drainage elements. The road lighting and underground cable network were also rebuilt.
The investment costs over 84.8 million PLN gross and is co-financed by the Government Fund "Polski Ład": Strategic Investment Program. The general contractor is NIWA Szczecin Sp. z o.o., and supervision is provided by Szczecińskie Inwestycje Miejskie Sp. z o.o.
Scope of construction work
The renovated outbound lane serves as the main exit from Szczecin to the right bank of the Oder. Opening the surface before Sunday morning concludes the disruptive phase of asphalt work on the crossing.
